VSauce, all three of them. They were peak YouTube way back when, but there was this long pause in videos shortly after they built their big studio, and VSauce 1 started focusing entirely on shorts about uninteresting things and VSauce 3 stopped making videos entirely. 1 and 2 are kinda back at making videos, but their quality jumped off a cliff. Feels like they’re making videos out of obligation.

MxR Mods. Two reasons for this, firstly is that I kinda stopped playing Skyrim. The other being that he started focusing almost entirely on lewd mods.

Kurtzhezacht, because their political stance became more and more apparent (billionaires will save the future).

i like science videos, when they arnt using cringy animations, just not my taste. there are plenty of real videos, and pics out there that arnt copyrighted you can use in the video. i prefer other animal/science commentators.

Please don’t tell me that, they are (were?) awesome… Any particular video you could recommend that shows this? I haven’t watched much YouTube as of late, but the bits of them that I did see didn’t really seem to suggest this

Well, for one, they have been sponsered by Open Philanthropy for a while. But a lot of their opinion is often fairly subtle, typically in any video that talks about solutions to problems we’re currently having.

But the most obvious one is the video where they talk about the state of the German economy.

There was a time where he WASNT hyperfocused on sex mods?

Lewd mods were always part of his line up, but everything he showcased had a certain quality standard. There’d be some real interesting things in his videos, often from modders that didn’t get attention for their work, and the ones with sex appeal were good too (or just funny).

But from one day to the next he shifted to basically doing only lewd mods with absolutely zero quality standard. So rather than finding out about hidden gems it was like just browsing Nexus with the “sexual content” tag.

I don’t consume short form video on any platform at all, so I thought VSause was completely out of the game for years. Then out of nowhere the podcast “The rest is science” with Michael Stevens and Hannah Fry came out.

It’s an absolute delight to just listen to them talk. The quality is great and they consistently release two episodes a week. Highly recommend for the VSauce fix.
