I used to like donuts, then one day I started making my own frosting and put it on cake and toast and other stuff. Eventually I got tired of it and I haven’t wanted donuts since. My theory is that donuts give you just enough frosting to want more but not enough to be satisfying, so you keep eating those blobs of deep-fried bread hoping to get enough frosting.
I’ve got a dumb opinion about this: They’re just old fashioneds for people who don’t understand aspect ratios applied to frosting per bite.
