Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada will match U.S. President Donald Trump’s 25% auto tariffs with a tariff on vehicles imported from the United States.

The most powerful part of Carney’s speech today imo, after talking about the need to renegotiate the US trading partnership while looking to the world to diversify:

If the United States no longer wants to lead… Canada will.
