An anonymous federal whistleblower has warned that the Trump administrationā€™s new system for handling mail ballots through the U.S. Postal Service is untested, fatally flawed and likely to lead to a ā€œcatastrophic failureā€ if itā€™s implemented ahead of Novemberā€™s midterm elections. This follows President Trumpā€™s executive order in March directing his administration to create federal lists of citizens and to refuse delivery of mail-in ballots to people not on those lists. The legality of Trumpā€™s executive order is being challenged. The new hurdles raised by the executive order for mail ballots and the rushed software system built to administer them ā€œcreate this potential for grave, catastrophic failure,ā€ says David Kligerman from Whistleblower Aid, the organization representing the whistleblower.

    Thatā€™s what they want. Youā€™re more likely to just disenfranchise would be mail-in voters than you are to suddenly disrupt well established voting trends. Screw up mail in voting and the stats indicate you give the win to GOP. They want you to doubt the mail in system.
