Let’s take a look at Dragon Quest Builders 2 and the way that it uses direction and guidance to help the player develop and enhance their creativity, whilst also still offering enough freedom for the player to make whatever they build still something uniquely their own.

I’m bummed that they never made a third game. Each game was somewhat related to the original game in the series and DQ3 was the best of the bunch.
Really great game. I especially enjoyed the part where you bring life back to a desert by building waterfalls and a river

How does the second compare to the first. I gotta bored with the first one surprisingly quick even though I liked the overall premise.
IMO it’s really more of the same. There are plenty of new things to make, you can now glide around, and there is a central hub island to build freely on, but it’s still largely the same formula as the first one.
Honestly, same.
I think the story, characters, and overall flow are better. Decent mini & world bosses and companions to find.
Then you have the chill factor with your home base where you’ll eventually be able to alter the entire map to your heart’s content.
The online stuff is visiting other people’s home islands. You can copy designs and stuff too with blueprints.
I agree! Totally with it! Was glad they brought the first one to pc. It’s a shame we probably won’t get a third.
