I wish companies stayed on that track.
Welcome to a world of 1000W PSUs :(

Community servers were/are some of the best times I have in gaming.
Ok yeah that’s fair. Most people.
Who doesn’t want to spend £50+ a month to doom scroll…
People who buy a Switch 2 are not the same people who care about this stuff.
The one channel that I have never stopped watching is Vash12349 as it is always a good time.
As for finding them you just have to search for games that your interested in and start watching untill something clocks with you.
Zarya looks like my kind of game so thanks.
Also that PS2 is stunning. I kinda miss all the colourful and/or transparent consoles stuff as it used to be a reasonable option but now it comes with a “special edition” price tag.
Live for Speed
I’ve been playing it on and off for over 20 years now with some definite highs and lows but I have nothing but respect for the devs (3 people) and community. It’s not on any store fronts and they just do their own thing.
Because it didn’t remind me of that?
This reminds me of the MGS one where the frequency for Meryl is on the back of the game case.
I’m interested in why you think they are toxic to the gamer base?
There are so many options out there that asking for $80, or whatever the equivalent is, is just ridiculous. I really hope people stand up against this bulshit.
Rime is a fun but emotional one.
Citizen Sleeper isn’t my usual type of game but I was hooked instantly by it all.
This is great and it’s not like they have shit revenue splits anyway as last I checked it was 88/12 which is by far the best around.
To be fair PC gaming is a whole different monster to deal with because of the extortionate prices of new hardware and extreme consumerism.
I just want to play games and not be a target for all these companies :/
There has always been an inherent value to consoles but if that goes away then I can genuinely see them dying off. Personally I thinks the current gen is a huge disappointment anyway and this news just makes it even more ridiculous.
Most games that claim to be survival genre are actually just boring crafting games.
Fishing in Red Dead Redemption 2 is very relaxing.
As always thanks for the post.
I buy and play games from all the storefronts so it’s nice that you post a variety of stuff and not just default to Steam like everyone else seems to. I also don’t follow the news closely anymore so the variety of topics you give is perfect too.
Regarding the website idea; Lemmy needs high quality posts so please keep doing what your doing :)
The pc market has taken a very consumerist turn and it’s actually pretty disgusting. Sad times.
