I’d consider a small fee to support the preservation program if I then received said games for free. It doesn’t have to be a monthly thing but whenever they are added.
I can’t think of anything else that would be worthwhile.

I have fond memories of TFC and TF2 too. Good community server and civilised people using their microphone are the dream.
Upscaling is great for older games that don’t support modern resolutions. I’m not really a fan of using it in modern games because of the blurryness you mentioned.
Regarding frame gen… Optimise your damn games! Game optimisation is becoming a lost art and now people think they should spend thousands on new hardware too keep up :(
Nothing better than finding a good community server but sadly not always possible nowadays.
I’m not really a platformer fan but Abe’s Oddysee/Exodus and Kirby’s Dream Land are up there.
Fishing Controller and a copy of Sega Bass Fishing for the Dreamcast was good fun.
I’m a big fan of the lightgun more though and have so many good memories. Point Blank, Die Hard Trilogy, Virtua Cop, Time Crisis, Confidential Mission, House of the Dead and even Ghost Squad and Red Steel 2 on the Wii were all so good.
Shenmue II
A revenge story set in 1980s Japan. Shenmue was excellent but Shenmue II is just another level in every way. For me it is the perfect combination of story, open world (which I don’t normally like nowadays) and fighting game. It’s quite a mixture of different genres but it works so well.
No no, I’m not American and my kids are definitely idiots…
Hopefully it’s something fun and not just some crypto crap or something.
That’s amazing but some game companies should embrace and respect their history more. I spent many many hours doing laps on Hard Drivin’ as it’s one of the few games I had.
Mario Kart DS
I did play a lot of 64 and Double Dash back in the day but DS is by far my favourite.
Game Boy Advance. Actually all 3 variants (GBA, SP & Micro) are beautiful consoles.
Playing online in most of the mainstream games nowadays is just a shit show.
There are so many! I haven’t seen these mentioned yet.
Future Cop LAPD Jackie Chan Stuntmaster Colin McRae 2.0 Abes Oddysee/Exodus
It’s nice to see some recognition for Devil Dice :)
I wonder why…
£800 for a console (£700 for digital) is actually ridiculous.
It’s a close call between Super Hang-On, World Rally and Colin McRae 2.0.
I haven’t bothered with mods for years now but Neotokyo was by far my favourite. Apparently it’s still played to this day by a group of fans but I haven’t joined in. Also the soundtrack is amazing
I’m curious for GTA VI but reading that has not added to my interest. “Roblox and Fortnite content creators” and “ecosystem” make me want to avoid.
I couldn’t remember why Blendo Games was familiar to me until you mentioned AZS. Such a good game!
