when doing laundry... while switching it over from washer to dryer...you find a sock on the floor that didn't get washed. If you put it in the dryer with the wet laundry will it come out clean?

Do you really need that sock clean? Hand-wash it in the sink with soap or detergent, wring it, then add it to the dryer.
