China has denied any suggestion it's in active negotiations with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump over tariffs, saying any notion of progress in the matter is as groundless as “trying to catch the wind.”
Of course China is playing hardball, heck I wouldn’t be surprised if they want to keep the Trump tariffs in place. Through his tariffs, inconsistency and idiocy Trump’s drastically weakening the USA’s power around the globe. Why would they want that to stop?
Sure China is losing money now, but they can see the end of the United States as a superpower on the horizon… and a world where China is the top superpower is worth a little pain now.
