I’m wondering if this is a result of having to spend most of the time indoors or be in the camera lens of paparazzi. We’re looking at a photo from one right now probably.

Quite possibly. With that in mind it was probably designed from the inside. That way there’s not much you can do about the exterior.

That was my thought too. Or rather, you sacrifice the outside aesthetics (which you yourself wouldn’t be able to enjoy because you can’t be outside) to gain interior aesthetics which you could.

In fairness, my aesthetic of choice is brutalism, so if I became ungodlyly famous, my house would very much look like a bunker, which is proof you can have your cake and eat it

Of all the things to hate on Taylor Swift for buying a McMansion and living in it as her primary residence is really silly. From what I remember, she’s been there since at least 2014. The house isn’t that big in person.

I just think it’s ugly. Like, I’m honestly pretty indifferent towards Taylor Swift. Both about her music, and her as a person. Like, she isn’t great, but there are billionaires that are a lot worse than her. Who probably still live in less ugly mansions.
