Yeah, OP’s take has always sounded pretty psychopathic to me. I feel the same about, “We deserve to be wiped out by climate change,” even though a small minority of the world population created a large majority of the greenhouse gases. If climate change only wiped out fossil fuel execs, maybe that would be deserved.
Yeah it sucks for everyone affected, but I voted against the idiot that wanted to do it. However, quite a few others voted for him - against their own interests - and won’t listen to reason. Medicaid is usually considered part of that “third rail” of politics - touch it and you get electrocuted politically, but here we are.
