But these tariffs really got me wondering. It’s so wild and irrational. I can’t imagine any other goal but wrecking “the economy”. WTF is dude thinking? Maybe he is mind controlled…
Everything he does makes sense if he’s a Russian asset. Why make fun of a logical and frankly reasonable possibility?
As a counter I think he believes in Mercantilism. Its the only way the “tariffs” he said existed make sense. They are a percentage of our trade deficit, and all trade deficit is bad.
The problem is to correct the deficit you have to get those places to either A) buy more from the US or B) buy less from them. And trade is not a zero sum game.
It’s a good thing Trump didn’t pay attention in high school then.
And yet, here we are. Living them.
Well, to be fair, they go into effect on April 5th and April 9th, so we are not quite living with them being in place just yet…we are most definitely living with the announcement of them.
This should not be a surprise, since he was considered to be one of the dumbest people to have ever attended Wharton.
