Fuck, I’m old. First thought was from back when I was a child & didn’t understand what “White Anglo-Saxon Protestant” meant. Haven’t heard that term in a long time, yet it’s still the first definition that pops into my head upon hearing that word.
Huh, after reading your comment I realised i never actually validated my friends claim from school that W.A.S.P stood for We Are Sexual Perverts. Looked it up and it is ambiguous as to what it stands for and the band never confirmed it, only that there was a hornet (?!) involved.
