It’s not about the individual, but the principle. Deadnaming or delegitimizing someone, even under the excuse that they are terrible, opens the door to deadname/delegitimize others for whatever other reason someone sees as valid.
Caitlyn Jenner should be in prison. But it should still be a women’s prison.
People do this all the time. I was just laughing at someones comment about reddit always being right wing, then they changed it to racist and another comment was it’s the same thing.

If you decide one person has lost the “right” to not be deadnamed, you are inherently supporting the deadnaming of others by those that have decided they haven’t “earned” it.
